Absorbing light, pigmental cells of the live tissues get warmed. Depending on the degree of the warming, the laser performs different kinds of thermal impact:

• Soft tissue warming, which stimulates the functions of these tissues, normalizes their activity and stirs up metabolic processes,
• Stronger warming, which oppresses cells’ activity,
• Intensive thermal impact, which leads to coagulation and tissue destruction,
• Extremely strong thermal impact, which leads to evaporation of the tissues.

Thermal impact of the laser on the cells depends on the energy and time of the impact. These technical characteristics of the laser are very important – they determine the character of the laser impact effect.

The more accurately are laser characteristics programmed, the more effective is the treatment performed.
