Wax epilation

Nowadays this method exists alongside with others and has its advantages.

Wax epilation suits everybody. The color and structure of hairs do not matter. That is why in cases when photo- or laser epilation methods are not effective because of light color of hairs or their tender (lanugo) structure, wax epilation is just what will do.

Wax epilation is a rather quick procedure (both legs completely take 20-30 minutes, and deep bikini – 15-20 minutes), however it is painful.

Wax epilation is a cheep procedure, but it requires regular repetitions (with a monthly interval).

Wax epilation does not destroy the hair bulb completely, which entails hair growth back in the same quantity in a month. But regular performance of the wax epilation leads to weakening of the hairs, whose cores in the course of time become thinner and less noticeable.

Complete destruction of the hair bulbs is possible only after photo- and laser epilation.

In the medical centre AILAS we use wax with aloe and camomile juice, having antiphlogistic and moisturizing effect. Anaesthetic materials are also added there in order to lower sensitivity and lessen painfulness in the course of procedure.
